Here I will showcase the projects I build. Did you see the clock at the top left of this page? TEN TIME , Whats ten time? its based on ten hours per day with 100 min. per hour, why not! Who came up with this 24 hour, 60 min, stuff anyway. The clock starts at midnight and counts 9 hours and 99 min. per day, so 2.50 is 6 in the morning, 5.00 is noon and 7.50 is 6 pm (dinnertime) I say time (lol) to make a change... Think about it, this 12 hour clock thing we all use was invented by the ancient people who believed the number 12 had religious meaning, almost 5000 years ago. Lets use our advanced age and be modern thinkers. More to come... Notice that it's a percentage, first two numbers give the percent of the day that's elapsed since midnight.

You can check some of my other projects on GitHub

About a year ago I started exploring vacuum tube design. I have spent some time building tube amps now. Vacuum tubes (or thermionic valves ) their sound which is often described as a 'warmth' (from enhanced 2nd order harmonic content) and their ability to soften the digital edge, give tube amps the sound I like. So if you want an amp that uses high voltage
(read danger! danger!)

and uses a lot of energy, most of which turns into heat,
then maybe tubes are for you too. Besides, the glow from the tube heaters looks really cool!
WARNING! these tube circuits use high voltage and the danger of electrical shock is very real, don't go down this road unless you know what your doing.

6l6-amp

Here is the picture of my main amp, its a push-pull design.
It uses 6L6 tubes for the output and a 6sl7 for the driver.
At 15 watts per channel its got plenty of power when driving
a good set of speakers. I use Axiom speakers of 96dp spl.
Update, this amp has being upgraded to KT88 output tubes,
more power!

RH84 amp

This is my kitchen amp, its an RH84 design. At 3 watts
This little amp sounds very good and is what I listen to a lot.
If your looking for a good first project this is the one!
Just do a google search for the RH84 amp and you'll find
all the info you need to get started.
A really good site to get started is
DIY Audio
This is how I got started, lots of great info there.
